Foundation
Stage
During
the Foundation Stage, young students will learn through play
and discovery. The areas of learning during the Foundation Stage
will include
- Personal, social and emotional development
- Communication, language and literacy
- Mathematical development
- Knowledge and understanding of the world
- Physical development
- Creative development
Key Stage 1 & 2
All students follow a common curriculum up to Key Stage 3
based on the National Curriculum for England. This ensures
continuity of study for students, particularly for those that
may transfer to or from other British system schools around
the world. Subjects are divided into Core subjects and Foundation
Subjects.

In addition to these subjects, students will learn, develop
and refine a wide range of skills that are essential to their
all-round development. Opportunities will be provided for
students to develop problem solving skills, reasoning and
evaluation skills and creative thinking skills.
The importance of the development of communication skills
and confidence that comes with developing good communication
is also emphasised during the Primary Years. Through weekly
assemblies, in-class presentations, group work and sharing
of ideas in the class young students are encouraged to exchange
ideas, share experiences and Provide information amongst their
peers.
